Successful Odor Control Kickoff

Posted on Jul 29, 2016 in Community Project, Featured, Newsroom, Odor Control

Friday, July 15th Rivanna hosted an Odor Control Kickoff at Riverview Park for local officials, media, and neighbors.  We shared the good news that our contractors have mobilized their equipment and construction is beginning!  We also heard from City Councilor Kathy Galvin, Board of Supervisor Rick Randolph, Rivanna Solid Waste Authority Board Chair, and Woolen Mills President John Frazee.

The map below was used to show the major components of this project. Our staff, local officials, and the neighborhood are definitely looking forward to having odors staying within our fence-line border with the completion of this project!
