Directions from East or West of Charlottesville on I-64:

Due to stormwater drainage construction on Franklin Street, a detour approved by the City of Charlottesville will be in effect beginning January 7, 2013 for approximately 2 to 4 weeks. The detour is included in the directions below:

1. At exit 121 (exit 121B for traffic from West), take ramp right for VA-20 toward Scottsville / Charlottesville – 0.2 mi
2. Turn right onto SR-20 North toward Charlottesville – 0.1 mi
3. Turn right onto Quarry Rd  – 0.1 mi
4. Turn left onto Monticello Rd  – 0.1 mi
5. Turn right onto Linden Ave – 0.2 mi
6. Turn left onto Nassau St – approximately 0.5 mi
7. Turn right onto Carlton Ave – approximately 0.1 mi
8. Turn right onto Franklin St – 0.3 mi

4. Turn right onto US-250 Bus / E High St – 0.3 mi
5. Bear left onto Meade Ave (becomes Carlton Road) – 0.8 mi
6. Turn left onto Carlton Ave – 0.40 mi
7. Turn right onto Franklin St. – 0.1 mi
8. Turn left onto Moores Creek Ln – 0.5 mi
