Sealed Bids will be received by the Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority, hereinafter called the Owner, in the Administration Building at the Moores Creek Advanced Water Resource Recovery Facility, 695 Moores Creek Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22902 until 4:00 p.m. (local prevailing time) on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor and materials needed to perform and complete the following:
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: In general the Work of the Project can be described as the expansion and rehabilitation of the Crozet Water Treatment Plant (CZWTP).
Digital image copies of the Bidding Documents will be available on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at http://www.sehinc.com for a fee of $30. These documents may be downloaded by selecting this project from the BIDDING DOCUMENTS link and by entering eBidDocTM Number 5705902 on the SEARCH PROJECTS page. Paper copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from Docunet Corp. located at 2435 Xenium Lane North, Plymouth, MN 55441 (763.475.9600) for a fee of $300. Bidding documents may be examined at the Owner’s RWSA Administration Building at the address above.
The foregoing descriptions shall not be construed as a complete description of all work required. Bidders will be allowed to visit the project sites as requested. Site visits are recommended but are not mandatory. All visits shall be coordinated through Owner’s contact, Tom Freeman at 434.977.2970 ext. 201 or tfreeman@rivanna.org.
A mandatory pre-Bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at the Administration Building at the Moores Creek Advanced Water Resource Recovery Facility, 695 Moores Creek Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22902. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. A site visit will be held after the meeting.
