Water Plant Operators

Performs routine tasks and necessary tests related to the processing of potable water; does related work as required. Work schedule will depend on permanent assignment but will likely be 12-hr. days on a rotating shift, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Starting salary dependent on qualifications and VA Water Operator License currently held. Must have a minimum of high school diploma or GED and a valid VA Driver's license. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Manager or Assistant Manager of the Water Department.
