Due to the change in the projected path of Hurricane Florence and the lessened potential impact for the Charlottesville / Albemarle areas, the Ivy Material Utilization Center (IMUC), 4576 Dick Woods Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903, and the McIntire Recycling Center, 611 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, VA 22902 will remain open and will operate under their normal schedules.
IMUC normal hours:
- Tues – Fri 7:30am-4pm
- Sat 8:30am-4pm
- Sun – Mon CLOSED
McIntire Recycling Center normal hours:
- Wed – Sun 8:30-6:30pm
- Mon 8:30am-6:30pm
- Tues CLOSED
If weather and conditions change, these hours could be delayed or changed.
Charlottesville, VA – September 11, 2018
The Ivy Material Utilization Center (Ivy MUC), 4576 Dick Woods Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903, will be closed on Friday and Saturday, September 14th and 15th. The Ivy MUC plans to reopen for normal business on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 7:30 am.
The McIntire Recycling Center, 611 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, VA 22902, will be closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 14th, 15th and 16th. The McIntire Recycling Center plans to reopen for normal business on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 8:30 am.
Planned openings could be delayed due to weather and conditions.
