REQUEST FOR BID FOR THE MCAWRRF IN-PLANT CLARIFIERS AND LIME SILO DEMOLITION – RFB #378″
Sealed Bids will be received by the Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority, hereinafter called the OWNER, in the Administration Building at the Moores Creek Advanced Water Resource Recovery Facility, 695 Moores Creek Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22902 until 4:00 p.m., local prevailing time on July 1, 2021 and then at said office be publicly opened and read aloud (virtually at the sole discretion of RWSA) for the following:
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Includes all site work for the removal of the existing concrete In-Plant Clarifiers, conditioning tank, and removal of an existing Lime Silo and associated electrical shed. This project will consist of removal of abandon underground piping that will be capped and plugged with flowable fill. Includes backfilling the area where In-Plant Clarifiers existed and restoring the previous grade. Contractor shall reference contract drawings and specifications for all work required.

An optional virtual pre-bid conference will be held on June 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to review the scope of work and clarify any aspect of the work that may be in question. Attendance at the virtual pre-bid conference is not mandatory.
