Charlottesville and Albemarle County, VA – Once again the City of Charlottesville, the Albemarle County Service Authority (ACSA), and Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority (RWSA) is participating in the second annual “Imagine a Day without Water,” a national campaign to educate and inspire the community about the value and importance of water in our everyday lives! Friday, July 15th Rivanna hosted an Odor Control Kickoff at Riverview Park for local officials, media, and neighbors. We shared the good news that our contractors have mobilized their equipment and construction is beginning! We also heard from City Councilor Kathy Galvin, Board of Supervisor Rick Randolph, Rivanna Solid Waste Authority Board Chair, and Woolen Mills President John Frazee.
