NOTICE TO BIDDERS
BY THE RIVANNA WATER AND SEWER AUTHORITY
BID FOR RED HILL WATER TREAMENT PLANT UPGRADES – IFB #403
The Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority (Owner) seeks BIDS for the construction of the Red Hill Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Upgrades. Sealed BIDS will be received by the Owner at the Administration Building Conference Room at the Moores Creek Advanced Water Resource Recovery Facility, 695 Moores Creek Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22902 (Issuing Office), no later than Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM and then at said office be publicly read aloud for the following:
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: The project proposes to construct a chemical room addition, holding tank and renovate the existing building at the water treatment plant in Albemarle County in Red Hill. Work will include earthwork, building construction, processing piping, fencing, electrical, instrumentation mechanical, coatings and restoration components. The foregoing description shall not be construed as a complete description of all work required.

There will not be any locations to view the plans in person or to purchase hard copies of the documents. Questions will be accepted through Tuesday November 14, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. and will be responded to via an addendum by Tuesday November 21, 2023 at 5:00 PM.
A non-mandatory, virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held Thursday October 26, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held online through the MS Teams platform.
