BID FOR COMPOSTABLE FOOD WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL- RFB NO. 411
Sealed Bids will be received by Rivanna Solid Waste Authority, hereinafter called the OWNER, in the Administration Building Conference Room at the Moores Creek Advanced Water Resource Recovery Facility, 695 Moores Creek Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22902 until 2:00 PM, local prevailing time on April 23, 2024 and then at said office be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:
Compostable Food Waste Collection & Disposal: provides compostable food waste collection and disposal services to be used to manage compostable food wastes that are collected throughout the year by the Authority at its Ivy Convenience Center (ICC) facility at 4576 Dick Woods Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903 and its McIntire Recycling Center (MRC) located at 611 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, VA 22902. Compostable food waste will be disposed through processing at a Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VA DEQ)-licensed composting facility.
