REQUEST FOR BID FOR THE GLENMORE WRRF INFLUENT PUMP AND VFD ADDITION – RFB #382
Sealed Bids will be received by the Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority, hereinafter called the OWNER, in the Administration Building at the Moores Creek Advanced Water Resource Recovery Facility, 695 Moores Creek Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22902 until 4:00 p.m., local prevailing time on July 8, 2021 and then at said office be publicly opened and read aloud (virtually at the sole discretion of RWSA) for the following:
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Furnishing and installing a third influent pump and associated valves and piping in the influent pump station at the Glenmore WRRF. The Glenmore WRRF is located at 3395 Carroll Creek Road, Keswick, Virginia 22947. Project includes installation of a VFD and appurtenances in an electrical room on the plant site to control the pump. Project includes installation of an exhaust fan, associated appurtenances and electrical work in the wet well of the influent pump station. Other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.

Digital copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained through the Engineer, Wiley|Wilson, at no cost. Hard copies are available for purchase at a cost of $500 per set. An optional virtual pre-bid conference will be held on June 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Glenmore WRRF located at 3395 Carroll Creek Road, Keswick, Virginia 22947 to review the scope of work and clarify any aspect of the work that may be in question. Attendance at the Pre-bid conference is not mandatory, but encouraged.
