Request for Bids – MCAWRRF Electrical Infrastructure Improvements – RFB No. 386
Sealed Bids will be received by the Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority, hereinafter called the OWNER, in the Administration Building at the Moores Creek Advanced Water Resource Recovery Facility (MCAWRRF), 695 Moores Creek Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22902 until 3:30 p.m., local prevailing time on Thursday, February 3, 2022, and then at said office be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Includes all work associated with the replacement of existing motor control centers (MCC) and transformers, installation of new 5kV cable, installation of new electrical ductbank, installation of a new switchgear, associated instrumentation and control improvements, and related site work as shown on the Bidding Documents. Contractor shall reference Bidding Documents for all work required.

An optional virtual pre-bid conference will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to review the scope of work and clarify any aspect of the work that may be in question. Attendance at the virtual Pre-bid conference is not mandatory, but attendance is encouraged.
